CCA is a hub for the arts and a civic space for Glasgow. Our year-round programme includes cutting-edge exhibitions, film, music, literature, spoken word, festivals, Gaelic and performance. The running cost for CCA is £2,500 per day.
By supporting us you will help to ensure that CCA can provide a home for arts and cultural experiences from across Glasgow and beyond, as well as supporting our ongoing commitment to public engagement, the mentoring of young people and development of emerging artists.
CCA supports over 200 partner organisations every year through our open source programme which equals around £500,000 of in-kind support in room hire, staffing and marketing. Supporting CCA helps to provide the infrastructure for exciting, experimental and innovative artistic work to be shown; work that would not otherwise find a public platform.
CCA's Creative Lab is a space for artists to develop new work without the pressure of a formal outcome. Artists go thorough an open application process and we are able to host twelve people every year. Each residency costs CCA £500.
CCA has ambition to work with young people from across the city to develop their interest in the arts and develop their employability skills in relation to future careers in cultural organisations. Support would assist us in growing this initiative to reach communities across the city and to develop bespoke projects with individual schools.
Our Public Engagement programme aims to extend access to CCA’s programming and has – at its heart – the prospect of social and cultural change explored through art. The programme launched in 2015, and to date 138 activities have taken place in CCA and across Glasgow, reaching 4,802 participants. By supporting CCA, you can help us to develop our range of activities and reach a wider range of participants.
