Charming Beasts features new video and film work from seven Toronto- and New York-based artists. Jeremy Bailey, Maryanne Casasanta, Stephanie Comilang, Isaac King, Stephen Levinson, Geoffrey Pugen and Sara St. Onge have produced nine short single-channel pieces that explore how we construct ourselves and how we communicate our narratives. Using animation, music and dance, these works are funny, whimsical and strange portraits of our contemporary myths and legends.
