Tango in the City is pleased to present an enjoyable evening of Argentine Tango, a Milonga including a performance by visiting teachers Ines Moussavi/Germany and Toine Straatman/ The Netherlands. Milonga is a dance salon, a social event where people go to dance and listen to Argentine Tango music. The music varies from the passionate and touching tunes of tango to milonga and tango vals without forgetting the more contemporary styles of tango nuevo. Unlike many other social dances tango is improvised and thus a form of communication that lives really in the moment.

If you have not yet come across this wonderful and passionate form of dance and music, this is your chance. Come along and check out the vibrant Glaswegian tango scene that has been growing fast the past few years. It is truly international in makeup and welcomes all the newcomers with or without any previous dance experience.
