It’s our birthday! Future Shorts Glasgow has been in its current incarnation at CCA for 12 months now, and we want to celebrate! We return with another great line-up of short films from the Future Shorts Winter Programme, alongside tunes from our resident DJ Oz. International and wide-ranging, this season’s selection will include a mixture of some of the best animation, documentary and fictional short films produced over the last few years. We are also excited to welcome Matt Lloyd, Artistic Director of the Glasgow Short Film Festival, who is going to give us an sneek preview of this year’s GSFF13, happening in February at CCA.

The Future Shorts Festival is the first ever global pop-up festival, showcasing the most exciting short films from around the world on a regular basis. The festival currently takes place in over 50 cities and 17 countries and comprises a worldwide audience of a half-million people, on and offline. Since 2003, Future Shorts’ defining format showcases a single programme of the best short films from around the world often alongside live music, DJs and art.
