Dardishi Festival Children’s Art and Activism Workshop

Sat 9 March 2019

DUBAIS DEVI 1 WEB 8cn2

Through this workshop, children will be introduced to different forms and expressions of political art. We will explore the work of current artists from the Middle East and North Africa and its diaspora, talk about how and why particular works are political, and then create our own original artwork to be displayed during the Festival. This workshop is facilitated by visual artist, cultural activist, and musician Nadia Buyse as part of Dardishi Festival.

Access: All areas of the venue are accessible to those with limited mobility, including wheelchair users. Large print versions of our printed programme will be available at the event. You can read our access information here, or the venue’s full access statement here.

Ticketing: Dardishi Festival is utilising a sliding scale ticketing system, so that everyone, regardless of their economic circumstances, can attend. If you are unsure how much you should be paying, have a look at our guidance document here.
