NEW VENUE
GRAMNet/BEMIS: Film Series Launch
Even When I Fall

Wed 3 October 2018

Please note, this event has moved to Gilmorehill, 9 University Avenue, G12 8QQ.

Following the fire at Glasgow School of Art and the O2 ABC music venue, the Centre for Contemporary Arts remains within the cordoned area in Garnethill. At this time, we expect to remain closed until Monday 15 October.

We are working with our programme partners who had scheduled events throughout this period. Details of new venues and cancellations are here.

Even When I Fall tells the incredible story of Nepal's first circus, set up by survivors of child trafficking. The incredible story of Saraswoti and Sheetal, trafficking survivors who reclaim skills that once came at a high cost: they were slaves in Indian circuses, sold as children. Now free, together they form Nepal's first circus.

An intimate, beautiful film that harnesses the visual power of circus to give a unique perspective into the complex world of human trafficking.
