NEW VENUE - Iceberg
Durational Improvisation Day and Evening Performance

Sat 28 July 2018

Please note, this event has moved to Tramway, 25 Albert Drive.

Following the fire at Glasgow School of Art and the O2 ABC music venue, the Centre for Contemporary Arts remains within the cordoned area in Garnethill. At this time, there is no set date for re-entry, and the centre expects to remain closed for the duration of July and August.

We are working with our programme partners who had scheduled events throughout this period. Details of new venues and cancellations are here.

A durational improvisation day leading to an evening of improvised short works of music, dance and theatre by members of the newly created group ICEBERG.

Eilon Morris, Nicolette Macleod and Zoe Katsilerou will spend Saturday 28 July in the theatre at CCA. In the morning and afternoon, the three artists will set each other improvisation tasks, opening the studio to peers and audience members to watch, meet the artists and encounter their processes. The studio will be open between 10.30am-12noon as well as 2pm-3.30pm.

In the evening, the artists will host an improvisation performance night, where they will create short works of music, dance and theatre. The performance will begin at 7pm and last for an hour.

Open studio: 10.30am-12noon & 2pm-3.30pm // Free
Performance: 7pm-8pm / £8 (£6) + £1 booking fee
