The Sea of Paperwork

The Sea of Paperwork exhibition is co-curated by Maryhill Integration Network and Artist Iman Tajik. The exhibition presents the original artwork created by young people.


The Sea of Paperwork book was developed in collaboration, through a series of workshops with young people from Knightswood Secondary school, St Fillans Primary School, Evergreen Outdoor Nursery, Dunard After School Care, Maryhill Integration Network and conFAB. It explores asylum issues and the reasons for it.


The exhibition will present the original artwork created by young people through the workshops, video process of the illustration by Garry Mac and a space to experience movement/welcoming. The exhibition launch will bring young people who were involved with the project from all the schools.


There will also be two talks as part of the exhibition:
Discussion with the Workshop Facilitators, Fri 15 Nov, 6pm-8pm
Discussion with the Workshop Participants, Sat 16 Nov, 4pm-6pm
