WARM Sundays
For WARM Sundays Annie Crabtree will be presenting a selection of footage shot for Embodied Knowledges.
Embodied Knowledges is the working title for a collaborative film project with Skye-based crofter Cheryl McIntyre. By filming their conversations and tasks on the croft, from salad-leaf picking to cow herding, Cheryl and Annie are creating a series of video essays that explore their friendship and professions, their lives and knowledge, and the landscapes and places they inhabit. You are invited to join in an open conversation about the project.
This project is supported by Glasgow City Council through the Glasgow Visual Artists and Craft Maker Award.
Annie Crabtree an artist, producer and researcher based in Glasgow. Annie makes work that explores the layered and complex relationship between people, place, and society.
WARM is a support network founded by and for women working as artists in Glasgow. It provides a space where women can discuss and develop their artistic practices and aims to explore ways of working that aid women and challenge the current accepted paradigm of artists working solely for their own self promotion.
