Poetry Circus featuring the Jennifer Ewan Band

Poetry Circus and the Jennifer Ewan Band are back at the CCA for their Summer of Love tour with a cabaret-style assault of music, film and performance poetry; a non-stop badass medley of unsurpassable Cajun and Blues music (with a definite Scottish accent) paired with spoken word from some of the most outstanding verbal performance artistes in the Central Belt.

Coupled with the artistic flair and suave production values of Poetry Circus - “the highest standard and absolute quintessence of performance poetry” - Jennifer Ewan’s music plumbs the depths of the Blues and features new original songs plus her own unique arrangements of classics from artistes like Bessie Smith.
