Intermedia is an independent gallery space managed by CCA in partnership with Glasgow Life. The gallery is on the second floor of CCA, and operates independently of CCA’s curated exhibition programme. Exhibitions are selected by a panel that includes CCA, Glasgow Life and the city’s independent visual arts sector. Exhibiting artists receive funding towards exhibition costs. Artists take full responsibility for organising, installing, publicising, invigilating and de-installing their exhibition. CCA has hosted Intermedia since 2006, when it moved here from King Street.
