Scottish Writers’ Centre presents Ewan Morrison with The End of Books?

In the first of our 2012 Debate & Discussion events, Ewan Morrison presents teh most important debate for all writers to date.  Is it 'the end of books?' Come along and have your say!

Ewan Morrison is the author of three novels (Menage, Swung and Distance – Jonathan Cape/Vintage) and a collection of short stories (The Last Book You Read – Chroma).

He is a columnist for the Erotic Review and wrote the weekly column Weegie Bored for Scotland on Sunday from 2007-09.
He is the recent recipient of a Creative Scotland Writers Bursary and is currently working on a new collection of short stories about life in a shopping mall. 

Ewan is currently working on his fourth novel (Close your Eyes) and is writing the film script of Swung with Sigma Films. He was an award winning TV director and writer throughout the 90’s and has a weekly column with Scotland on Sunday. 

He was recipient of a UNESCO Edinburgh city of literature bursary to be a writer in residence at Varuna, NSW, Australia in 2006 and is currently long-listed for the Le Prince Maurice Literature Award.
