The Glasgow Diet

Zev Robinson’s sixth documentary on food in Scotland, The Glasgow Diet is about the evolution of food in the city over the last fifty years.

Interviews with about six people provide personal stories and the social history that covers the transition from industrial to post industrial eras to its present revival. Included are Greencity Wholefoods and Locavore who have played important roles in bringing about a more positive food system in the city.

Saramago Cafe Bar will provide a special dinner with a modern vegan take on Glaswegian food, after the screening.

The event is produced in collaboration with Slow Food Glasgow.
