Glasgow Film Festival Man Proposes, God Disposes

Karol (Mateusz Nedza) is stuck in a rut: dabbling in crime, living at home with his mother, and watching life pass him by. When he learns that a one-night stand with visiting Brazilian tourist Bruna (Bruna Massarelli) has resulted in a pregnancy, he impulsively leaves Gdansk and heads to São Paulo. The culture shock is daunting enough but how can the couple hope to build a future together and become good parents when they barely even know each other? A dynamic, award-winning debut from director Daniel Leo, who also provides the beautiful cinematography.
