Glasgow Zine Fest is an independent publishing festival that champions DIY art and empowerment.
Zines - self-made magazines - have their roots in punk and protest movements. The medium has become an accessible way to share art, ideas and cat photos. This tradition continues at GZF with a programme focused on equality and engagement. GZF will feature a slate of events, including screenings, talks, seminars, and a series of practical workshops in zine-making.
The main event of GZF is a zine fair, featuring collections from zine makers of all shapes and sizes, as well as zine libraries and distributors. GZF’s fair runs Saturday from 11am - 6pm and Sunday 10am - 3pm. Come see what it’s all about!
