Scottish Writers' Centre & STEM Poets Writing about climate change: getting inspired

Tue 11 February 2020

Colin Will 800 lhel

Are you interested in writing about climate change? Colin Will and Eveline Pye discuss the challenges of writing about the most important issue facing humanity today, followed by readings from STEM poets and other SWC members.

Do you know that national and international bodies offer prizes, awards and residencies for anyone who can write about climate change in a way which inspires and motivates the general public?
Maybe you've tried to write about climate change and become confused and lost in the complexities of the subject. Maybe you've only ever thought about writing about climate change, but never done it.

Come along to this Scottish Writers' Centre event run in partnership with STEM Poets and be inspired.

A follow on workshop will be held two weeks later on Tuesday 25 February where there is the chance to share the climate change poetry you are inspired to write at this event.
