Zac Scott 2 zmug

“…a sound which successfully reflects the vastness of Scotland and Iceland’s breathtaking wilderness.” (Spotlight UK)

Zac Scott

Zac Scott introduces you to his debut album 'For The Love Of…' within a 7-piece live band. Characterised by intricate and ethereal soundscapes, this bold and memorable album of twelve original songs blends acoustic piano, intimate and layered vocals, double bass, cello, violin, drums and acoustic/electric guitars, creating an evocative and unique sound. The new record was created in Glasgow’s Southside with producer Thomas Brumby and has been mastered by Mike Kalajian from Rogue Planet Mastering, NY.

After the release of two singles 'Fox' (“A beautiful song,” Jim Gellatly, Amazing Radio) and 'Million', Zac and his band take to the stage to celebrate the imminent release of the new album and the upcoming tour from Dumfries to Reykjavik. Influenced by the likes of James Blake, David Gray and Olafur Arnalds, an evening of experimental and elusive songwriting awaits! In collaboration with: Cameron Black, Kenny Cormack, Cameron Maxwell, Thomas Brumby, Sarah McWhinney and Gudrun Soley Sigurdardottir.
