CCA Welcomes New Chair of the Board
12/12/2025
CCA
CCA is pleased to share the appointment of Muse Greenwood as the new Chair of our Board of Trustees.
Muse Greenwood joins Kirsty and Paola on our CCA board of trustees at an important moment for the organisation, with an initial focus on listening, good governance, and supporting CCA’s long-term stability and direction.
A cultural leader, community advocate, and CEO of Be United, Muse brings extensive experience in creative strategy, organisational development, and working with artists and communities to build equitable cultural ecosystems. Their approach is grounded in listening, care, and heart-led leadership, and we are delighted to welcome them to the CCA community.
“I am honoured to have been asked to chair the board in this new time of future-proofing CCA. I know this has been a challenging period, and I want to approach this new role with care, listening, and heart. My commitment is to help create the conditions for stability, trust, and shared purpose through honest engagement and thoughtful governance.
Across my work, my focus has always been on championing creativity, community, and equitable cultural ecosystems. I recognise how deeply rooted CCA is in the cultural and civic life of Glasgow, and I see the important role it plays for artists, audiences, and its community. I am committed to being present, supportive, and to working with you as we move into the next chapter together.”
– Muse Greenwood, Incoming Chair, CCA Board
Muse will begin meeting with staff, partners, and community members over the coming weeks, with a fuller programme of engagement planned for the new year. We extend our gratitude to all staff, partners, artists, and audiences who continue to support CCA during this period of transition.
We look forward to working with Muse as we continue strengthening the foundations of CCA and shaping a resilient, inclusive future for the organisation.
