Acting Up! Wilma Wallace

Wilma is a 10 year old who would like to think for herself, if she ever gets the chance. The show has a comedic tone but raises contemporary issues that the children deal with, albeit in more of a cartoon fashion.

Wilma Wallace was conceived by the children of Acting Up! and worked on throughout the weekly workshops - Mike Leigh style. The ideas are then scripted by Clare Hemphill and her team., Ideas are discussed and improvised by a class of over 20 children from the ages of 8 -12.
