Underneath its luminosity we can stride like panthers and tigers, unleashing our very wildest natures. So puff your tail and prance like a satyr to the god of mirth and merriment, ritual madness and ecstasy.

Aided by the first Greek, Alexander Thomson, the bewildering clamour to celebrate through day and night will be led by notable advocates of Dionysian exuberance, indestructible living and iconoclastic impulses.
