Drop your kids off with us for a series of workshops that inspire them to consider the power of the arts. Over the three days, your child will engage with different ways of making and thinking.
Materials are provided, all we ask is that your child wears old clothes that can get messy. And why not enjoy a coffee and pastry in the CCA cafe, while your child gets creative?
Spaces are limited, so please only book if you can attend each of the three days.
If you have difficulty getting to the CCA, simply email sam@cca-glasgow.com and we will arrange free public transport for you and your child.
About the workshops
Create your own creatures this summer and explore the cosmos through your imagination. We will be designing our own creatures and the habitats they live in through a variety of different activities. Over the three sessions we will create creatures from the cosmos by experimenting with drawing, collage and sculpture techniques to make our very own cosmic safari. Facilitated by artist Robert Mills you will be encouraged to get messy, think about the animals and their environment here on Earth and what endless possibilities might exist in the extraterrestrial.
About the artist

Robert's practice is interdisciplinary and socially engaged. Working with different community groups across Glasgow, he aims to dismantle barriers around experiencing contemporary art.
