Auticulture Network & bakery47 Rise to the Occasion - Creating the Glasgow Loaf

The team from bakery47 join forces with members from Auticulture Network (a Glasgow-based group run by autistic adults interested in gardening and nature) to share ideas and experience, with the aim of creating the quintessential 'Glasgow Loaf'. Join us at bakery47, or try your hand at our final recipe at home in your own kitchen, and share your results - helping take the Glasgow Loaf to the people of Glasgow and beyond!

Join us as we explore the notion of 'The Glasgow Loaf' - examining the place of bread in different cultures and in our everyday lives, the diversity of bread on offer in our city, and the versatility of sourdough and soda bread making. bakery47 will open their ovens to guests, inviting them to bring dough they have prepared at home to be baked communally in the bakery oven. There will be a workshop on sourdough bread making and the chance to mix your own soda bread. Once baked we will break bread together and share the products of our morning's work.
