Aye Aye Books & Framework present: Self Organised Book Launch

Join Aye Aye Books and Framework for the UK launch of Self Organised. The latest Open Editions publication is an anthology of new writing edited by Anne Szefer Karlsen and Stine Hebert including contributions from Julie Ault, Celine Condorelli, Charles Esche, Barnaby Drabble, Juan A Gaitan, Jan Verwoert and What, How & For Whom/WHW. Anne will give a short talk during the evening and refreshments will be served.

Self Organised picks up the debates surrounding New Institutionalism in the mid 2000's and situates itself in the current economic and institutional context. It explores self organisation within the art world as a matrix of interconnected positions where the balance of power and productivity constantly shifts.

Anne Szefer Karlsen is Director of Hordaland Art Centre, Bergen and co-curator of the 2013 Lofoten International Art Festival (LIAF). She is also a writer and co-editor of the publishing project Ctrl + Z.
