Waterloo Road is one of the UK’s longest running dramas and regularly attracts 4 million viewers. About to begin its ninth series, the programme is now made in Scotland and a key show on BBC One for pulling in a young audience. Each programme
receives around 50000 tweets amongst the audience and it is always one of the most viewed shows on the BBC’s iPlayer.
