Basurama Culture for Community Empowerment

This talk will investigate the potentials of culture as a source of empowerment within the community. Basurama is an artist collective from Spain dedicated to research, cultural and environmental creation. They have been bringing creative projects to locations around the world since 2001. Starting from the production of objects through to their consumption, Basurama use trash and waste as their starting materials to create something new, and helping those who inhabit the city to create the environment they would like to live in.
