Returning to Celtic Connections in 2017, The Janice Forsyth Show features live performances and interviews with special guests from across the Festival.
Songwriter Rab Noakes joins Janice to look ahead to a year that brings his 70th birthday, and the 50th anniversary of his first professional gig. Evelyn Glennie and Indian percussionsist Trilok Gurta talk about The Rhythm in Me, a brand new collaboration commissioned by Celtic Connections to mark the 70th anniversary of India’s independence. Actor Tam Dean Burn plays tribute to Johnny Cash, and there’s live performances from soulful six-piece Pronto Mama and Glasgow-based Irish singer Martha Ffion.
