Japanese war photographer, Daisuke Honda (Akira Kobayashi), finds himself thrown into a world of espionage and lost treasure after his stewardess date gets kidnapped by the all-female ninja group, Black Tight Killers.

This spy spoof in the mould of other 60s spy capers such as Danger: Diabolik and Modesty Blaise (as well as being James Bond ‘inspired’) was the debut film of Nikkatsu veteran Yasuharu Hasebe, protégé of Japanese pulp master Seijun Suzuki. With its madcap plot and eye-popping sets, Black Tight Killers is a stylish slice of 60s Japanese pop perfection. Car chases! Fist fights! Vinyl wielding all-female ninja death squads!
