Bridging the Gap - Documentary Workshop
Scottish Documentary Institute, in partnership with Lock Up Your Daughters Filmmaking, are hosting a workshop to help filmmakers prepare for submissions to Bridging the Gap – one of UK’s flagship short creative documentary schemes for new talent. Every year, this scheme provides training and mentorship as well as commissioning opportunities to get your film made.
The workshop will explain the aims of the scheme, will provide tips on how to improve your chances of being selected and will offer you a chance to pitch your short documentary idea informally and receive feedback.
This year, we are asking filmmakers to respond to the theme 'Rebellion' and we will discuss what this could mean to you today.

ACCESS: The workshop will take place in the Club Room of the CCA, which is on the top floor, accessible by lift. There is level access to the building on the corner of Sauchiehall St and Scott St. There is an accessible toilet next to the room. Let a member of staff know if you need any help finding or travelling to the space. If you are thinking of attending and require any other access measures, please get in touch via email
