//BUZZCUT// have announced three development opportunities for Scotland-based performance or live artists, in association with the Double Thrills programme - monthly nights of experimental performance - which return to CCA in Autumn 2020.

//BUZZCUT// Emerging Artist Award - 2020


The Emerging Artist Award is for an artist of any age (18+) with under 2 years professional experience working in Live Art and/or contemporary performance to develop a new work for Double Thrills.


-£1200 Budget including development & 2 consecutive performances
-A £300 development fund to hire an artist mentor or go and see performance work in national festivals
-Up to a weeks Residency in the Centre for Contemporary Arts
-Mentoring and Advice from //BUZZCUT// Team
-A platform at Double Thrills in Autumn 2020 (2 consecutive nights)




Double Thrills Micro-Residencies


2 Mini residencies designed to better support Scotland based artists to develop new work for Double Thrills.
-A £500 budget to contribute to residency costs
-Up to 1 weeks Residency in the Centre for Contemporary Arts
-A platform to present a work in progress / new idea at Double Thrills in Autumn 2020 (2 consecutive nights) with an additional performance fee




Glasgow Club Performance Residencies


Three, 2 month long residencies across Glasgow clubnights for artists wishing to develop new work for club environments.


-£400 Cash
-A £300 fund for artistic mentorship, working with another artist or a ‘go and see’ fund to relevant work.
-gigs over a two/three-month period at selected club nights around the city
-Mentorship from BUZZCUT
