Ceòl 's Craic Americana Night (Oidhche Tuath-Cheòl)

Ceòl 's Craic is the vibrant social hub and platform for contemporary Gaelic culture in Glasgow, and launches its 2013/14 Programme in partnership with An Lòchran with an Americana Night. Join us for a special evening which will explore the influence of traditional Gaelic song on Americana music, and celebrate the enduring worldwide appeal of the genre. We'll have live music from Norrie "Tago" MacIver (lead singer of Gaelic supergroup Mànran), up-and-coming Gaelic Indie Folk band Macanta and a debut performance from the Veloninos alongside award-winning Gaelic vocalist Ceitlin Smith. There's also a special prize for the audience member with the best style, so be sure to dress up to the nines!
