Ceòl ’s Craic Film & Music Night

An evening of film and music, featuring new compositions by Catriona McKay & Alistair MacDonald (Strange Rainbow), and artist/performer Aileen Campbell.

Catriona McKay and Alistair MacDonald have been working with harp and live electronics since 2001 exploring live improvisation through a programme of new works - shaping, stretching, twisting and sculpting the instrument using new playing techniques and custom software, they are pushing the clàrsach far beyond tradition.

Aileen Campbell works across video, sound and performance, focusing on the human voice. As a trained chorister and collaborator in Glasgow Improvisors 'Orchestra, she explores the voice as live presence and through manipulation by documentation and film.
