6.45f: Buidheann còmhraidh luchd-ionnsachaidh na Gàidhlig

7.30f: ‘Na Gaidheaileamailtich (German Gaels)’ (MG ALBA) Uair a thìde
Tha an àireamh de dhaoine às a' Ghearmailt aig a bheil ùidh ann an cultar na h-Alba 's nan Gàidheal air a bhith na iongantas bho chionn fhada. An-diugh tha tòrr Ghearmailteach ann a tha air ainm a dhèanamh dhaibh fhèin taobh a-staigh cultar na h-Alba le bhith ag ionnsachadh 's a' teagasg Gàidhlig agus le bhith a' togail ceòl traidiseanta na dùthcha. Tha am film aithriseach a’ nochdadh feadhainn dhe na Gearmailtich a th’ air am beò-ghlacadh le Alba, agus a’ faighinn a-mach dè dìreach a tha gan tàladh gu cultar agus min-chànan dùthaich chèin.

An toiseach, ann an com-pàirteachas ùr leis a’ cho-fharpais bhliadhnail FilmG, bidh sinn a’ scrìonadh dà fhilm goirid a bhuannaich dhuaisean sa Ghearran.

6.45pm: Gaelic learners’ conversation group

7.30pm: ‘Na Gaidheaileamailtich (German Gaels)’ (MG ALBA) 1 hour
The high number of Germans with an interest in the culture of Scotland and the Gaels has been a phenomenon for a long time. Many German people have made a name for themselves within the Scottish culture by learning and teaching Gaelic and by taking up the country's traditional music. The documentary features some of the Germans enraptured by Scotland and finds out what attracts them to the culture and a minority language of a foreign country.

Also, in a new partnership with the annual FIlmG competition, we will start by screening two short films that won awards in February.
