What can a choreographic approach reveal to us about text? How can embodying text provide a space for physical creativity and expressiveness?

These two workshops will offer an insight into Zoe Katsilerou's practice, investigating relationships between movement and text.

Through principles of choreography, somatic practices and voice work, Zoe will support participants in developing their kinaesthetic awareness in relationship to their imaginations and speech.

Participants will be guided through the process of creating choreography through experiencing their bodies in the moment and accessing their imaginations. Movement will be approached as language, and we will draw on punctuation, inflexion and articulation as a means of enriching our choreographic material.

Open to all levels.
