Christine Borland & Brody Condon Circles of Focus Artist Talk

Join us for a special discussion with artists Christine Borland and Brody Condon along with various collaborators, to share personal insights into the Circles of Focus project. This free talk will bring together ideas on making and materiality, as well as exploring the role and social implications of contemporary art practice in body donation.

Christine Borland and Brody Condon will be joined on Skype by project partner Dr Quentin Fogg (former Senior Lecturer in Anatomy at Glasgow University, now Centre for Human Anatomy Education, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia). Dr Fogg will share his expert knowledge on the experimental ideas, research and processes explored in the exhibition, and answer questions from the audience.

Also joining for a special performance is dancer Anna Krzystek whose performance during the talk will investigate the possibilities of the corpse substitute and the sculptural prototype referred to in the Circles of Focus exhibition.
