Spanish and Latin American Short Film Night
CienmaAttic have prepared a cocktail based on clasicos and some of the most talked about phenomena on the Spanish film scene, including masterworks by Javier Rebollo and Alejandro Marzoa as well as 2016 Goya Awards nominee Cordelias by Gracia Querejeta. Peru is the guest country this time, bringing the Quechuan flavour.
We will focus our interest on couples and the different ways we seek to reach love and maintain (or survive) it. We have prepared a pretty intense and eerie journey into the depths of human sentimental and personal interaction. We have called it 'Coupling' and there you will find both the conceivable but also the sheer extravaganza of human partnering. A representative array of how belonging, solitude and our inner fears interact at different stages of life.
If you don't know the formula yet, it's quite easy. Spanish and Latin American Short Film Nights offer a powerful curated selection of short films, all with English subtitles, as well as networking breaks for the enjoyment of both the Ibero-American community and cinema lovers alike.
