Bookmark: Reading Platform is a regular reading group focusing on texts and screenings ranging from Art, Culture, Politics, Philosophy, Anthropology and Sociology. This evening will focus on extracts from 'Architecture from the Outside', Elizabeth Grosz (2001).

These extracts were chosen to coincide with the installation NEW PYRE exploring the infrastructural quality of text. Included are two extracts from Grosz’ collection of essays Architecture from the Outside in which Grosz frames forms of text as ‘volatile’ and ‘little bombs’. This can act as a primer to the larger extract in which she puts forward the potentialities of the ‘in­between’ between architecture, sexuality, art and politics.
