Sad Day We Left the Croft
It's the early eighties and punk rock is on a roll. Even in the Western Isles punk rock is emerging as evidenced by the appearance of a compilation album of local bands entitled Sad Day We Left The Croft. This documentary from 2007 presented by young Lewis musician Fiona Mackenzie traces the roots of this musical project and exams its legacy.
Gaelic tutor Janet Evans will host a conversation session for learners from 6.00 till 6.30pm. Join us for an evening of Gaelic conversation over a complementary drink, enjoy this fascinating documentary and attempt our Club Film Quiz when you'll get a chance to win two tickets to our next music event, Ceòl Mòr Ostaig on Saturday 16 April!
