In December 2014 the Yellow Movement came together to watch Glasgow's rock 'n' roll, dance, funk, reggae, country, comedy, cult, crowd participation, party band, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5, play the iconic Barrowland Ballroom. This is the premiere screening of the rockumentary Live In & About the Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom (released on Record Store Day).
A chance for those of you who were there to relive the night in all its glory. For those who weren't, a chance to watch what is already being described as one of the legendary nights in the Barras. Testament to that are the bar staff who now wear their Dijon 5 t-shirts with pride when they're working there. This is a film about a band who got to fulfil their dream. Expect music, laughter, good times, Gallowgator crowdsurfing, history, sentiment, romance, intrigue and the legendary 6th Dijon who kept on singing even when the plug was pulled before the bands last song.
Filmed by WalkTalk Productions, Daryl Cockburn, Jon The Hat, Martin Windebank and Titan Cams. Peace, love and Mustard.
