Conference and reading: Poems for the Millennium Vol. 4

Come along to the launch evening for Poems for the Millennium, Volume Four: The University of California Book of North African Poetry, edited by Pierre Joris and Habib Tengour.

This multimedia conference and reading will explore the making of the book, which surveys 2500 years of Maghrebian Literature. Pierre and Habib offer a 60 minute presentation followed by a Q&A, with readings in the original languages — Arabic, French and Berber and in translation, as well as a visual and sound multimedia presentation created by Nicole Peyrafitte.
