Counterflows 2016: Counterflows Residency with Franka Herwig & Liene Rozite

The Counterflows Residency series is a really important aspect of the festival's commitment to exploring the processes embedded in music making. The creative residency brings together artists for that working collaboratively lies at the heart of their practice. Counterflows and the Goethe institute in Glasgow have partnered again to enable an international guest to come to Scotland for a week-long collaborative residency. This year we have invited Berlin based contemporary accordion player Franka Herwig to work with the Glasgow based musician and performing artist Liene Rozite.

The event at CCA Creative Lab on Saturday provides a space for both artists to share their ideas, impressions, probably music and also obstacles they have encountered during the residency. It is an invitation for anyone keen to learn about their joint creative work process.
