DAIS Episode 1

The first episode will focus on emerging and early career artists, and will see one work screened each day. The work can be viewed outdoors, projected from the CCA onto Scott street, and online at dais.website.

DAIS (meaning a low platform or lectern) was started in response to a felt lack of chance encounters with contemporary art as a result of Covid-19 restrictions.

DAIS aims to support artists with a platform during a time of reduced public presentation. Our outdoor projections are peripheral non-events, to be enjoyed by passers-by on daily commutes and strolls around town in the winter months.

The first iteration of DAIS will include works by Siri Black, Peter Eason Daniels, Lisa Fabian, Julia Carolin Kothe and Colm Guo-Lin Peare.
