Dance House Dancer Development Intensive Secret Language Project

Tue 12 November — Sat 16 November 2013

This five-day Dance House workshop explores aspects of choreographer and director Ian Spink’s methodology using a mixture of structured improvisation, research and task based activities to create a body of short movement episodes. Each day of the workshop will begin with a professional class with a guest teacher, and the week ends with an informal sharing on the final day. The aim of the workshop is process rather than product oriented, and Ian will be working with reference to a selection of short music works recorded by the Kronos Quartet (Early Music - Nonesuch Records 1997).
