Dance House Glasgow Katie Armstrong: HAND//SHAKE

Dance House Glasgow host dance artist Katie Armstrong’s sharing at the end of a week-long residency. HAND // SHAKE is a short site specific duet which explores the complexity of the first movement of Bach's Violin Concerto in A Minor. The piece is inspired and driven by the pulse of the music, and manifests itself as a meeting between two characters. It is a light-hearted look at status, hierarchy and social etiquette between acquaintances.
