Dance House Glasgow: Waacking, Vogue & House Workshops

In preparation for the 'No Shade' Ball on Thursday 22 October, we are hosting some warm up workshops to ensure you feel confident with the skills you are bringing to the floor.

Vogue Fundamentals: 6pm-7pm | £5
Based in the principles of Old Way Vogue we will work on lines, precision and posing whilst introducing some classy dips and sassy runway.

Waacking: 7pm-8pm | £5
Created in Los Angeles by the LGBTQ cultures of the 1970s, Waacking is characterised by its flamboyant arms but also incorporates expression, footwork, posing and musicality. This class will focus on each of these and of how you combine all elements to find your own style.

House: 8pm-9pm | £5
Covering grooves, foundations and drills in a social way which gives a real feel of the original house club culture.
