Declaration | Article 20: Freedom of Assembly and Association

A diverse programme of short films highlight protests related to a variety of struggles: the right to work, to live free from discrimination, etc. Curated and introduced by Dr David Archibard – Senior Lecturer in Film and Television Studies at the University of Glasgow and Chair of the Board of Document Human Rights Film Festival – the films have been selected for their cinematic qualities as much as their social and political content. Dr Archibald will also lead a post-screening discussion on protest and cinema.
