In 2015, Glasgow musician Raymond Meade visited the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland, and decided to record some songs to mark the victims of the Holocaust as a response to his visit. He invited Auschwitz survivor Eva Kor to read his poem for inclusion on the record. This documentary charts the recording and follows them back to Auschwitz where Eva reads Raymond’s poem on the selection platform where she lost her family. The film is a touching story of a unique friendship between two people from very different worlds.
Both Eva Kor and Raymond Meade will attend the screening which is followed by a Q&A with Eva Kor.
All proceeds will go to Eva Kor's CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center charity.
