An evening of screenings and discussion that look at the intersections and differences between sex–work and trafficking, creating a rare opportunity for informed and respectful discussion on these areas of life that are often polarized in debate.
Two films: one centred around the testimonies of women forced into sex work in the Philippines and the other around an international conference for sex–workers rights held in Calcutta.
One panel: two representatives from Glasgow Sex Workers Open University (supports sex-workers self-organisation and decriminalisation of sex-work), a former worker at the Poppy Project (directly supports women trafficked into sex-work) and a current worker from the Angelou Centre (multi-faceted black led women’s centre).
