A panel of debut feature directors whose work has been selected for Glasgow Film Festival will share their perspective as debut directors.

Brought to you by Behind the Scenes in association with BFI Film Academy Labs, this free, in-person event at Glasgow Film Festival is for young people looking to explore careers in Scotland’s film industry.

Join us for a discussion with directors in the early stages of their directorial career. From the process behind creating and publicising their debut films, to moving onto their subsequent projects, this event is a must attend for anyone interested in getting their start in a career as a director. It's a unique opportunity to hear from debut directors, all with films in the Glasgow Film Festival 2022 programme. Panel guests will include Ride the Wave Director, Martyn Roberston and Angry Young Men Director, Paul Morris.
