We're delighted to be taking part in Disabled Access Day 2017. Events include our Forms of Action exhibition, Aye Write! at CCA, Alexander Storey Gordon's A Apopheny! exhibition, and our Cities screening and discussion.

Forms of Action is free and runs until Sunday 12 March (Tue - Sat, 11am-6pm / Sun: 12noon-6pm). It is located in our main gallery space on the ground floor. The gallery entrance measures 110cm / 43.5 inches in width (one door). When both doors are open this measures 218cm / 86 inches. The gallery is accessible by wheelchair, please note there is a lip on the threshold of the entrance. There is a corridor connecting the largest space within the gallery to the smallest space; this measures 80cm / 31.5 inches. The gallery space is always staffed, please ask a member of staff if you require any assistance.

A Apopheny! runs at the Intermedia Gallery, CCA from Sunday 4 - Tuesday 21 March, 1pm-7pm. Admission is free. Intermedia Gallery is located on the second floor of CCA. It is accessible by stairs (53 in total) or the lift. It has doors measuring 90cm / 35.5 inches wide, which will be open during an exhibition. All exhibitions will be attended by an invigilator who can provide assistance as requested.

Our Cities screening and discussion is free, will have BSL interpretation and takes place in the cinema. The cinema is on the ground floor and has level access, with two doors. The first door is a sliding door which is 117cm / 46 inches wide, the interior cinema door is 90cm / 35.5 inches wide and opens outwards towards the cafe. The cinema has raked seating, with removable seats for wheelchair spaces. There is one step for each row of seating, each 15cm / 5.8 inches in height, with the front rows at ground level. There is a hearing loop in the cinema. A member of staff will be able to advise you of the best seats for this.

As part of Aye Write! at CCA, we're offering four free tickets for wheelchair users and four free tickets for carers as part of Disabled Access Day. Tickets are available for Christopher Somerville, Emma Vieceli - Aye Con, Adam Rutherford and Caroline Williams. Please contact the CCA box office on 0141 352 4900 or boxoffice@cca-glasgow.com for booking. The theatre is on the first floor, it accessible from the ground floor via the lift, or via stairs (30 steps in total). The corridors on the first floor are level and measure 147cm / 58 inches in width, with handrails throughout. The theatre doors from the main walkway are 80cm / 31.5 inches wide. There is a flat flooring throughout, and during events there will be staff available for any assistance required. The seating bank in the theatre has one step per row, each 15cm / 5.8 inches high, with the front rows at ground level.

Accessible toilets are located on each floor of CCA. We welcome trained assistance dogs, please ask if you would like a water bowl. There are two blue-badge parking spaces available on Pitt Street at the junction with Sauchiehall Street, across the road from CCA.

Venue maps are available in the foyer, and a large print version is available from box office. You are welcome to take these throughout the building. We aim to make the building as accessible as possible but if you feel that you might need some additional help, please get in touch in advance or ask a member of staff on arrival.
