Usually, artwork is exhibited, documentation is published and, if on a digital platform, the Internet becomes the means of its dissemination. It’s Our Playground investigates the cohabitation of the virtual and the real, by setting up a physical exhibition and an on-line one. The project will look at artworks existing in different mediums (e.g., sculpture and JPEG, installation and GIF). There will be original artworks in both exhibition spaces from the same artists.

Artists include: Aaron Angell, Anthony Antonellis, Alistair Frost, Tom Godfrey, Rachel de Joode, Aurélien Mole, Mathew Parkin, Ciara Phillips, Owen Piper, Travess Smalley.... Here comes DOVBLE TROVBLE!

IT'S OUR PLAYGROUND

Camille Le Houezec & Joey Villemont, both born 1986, both live and work in Glasgow.

Born in 2010, It's Our Plaground's (IOP) website is the main residency of artists Camille Le Houezec & Jocelyn Villemont. This is at the same time a portfolio and an artist run space on the internet.

In the physical world, IOP projects may take the form of sculptures, exhibitions or installations, using curation itself as a medium. In its projects, IOP pursue reflection around the modes of presentation and exhibition, using text and suggestive means to add insight to their work.
